Our proprietary furnace tube inspection system, FTIS™, is an intelligent pig capable of rapid, automated, ultrasonic fired heater coil inspection in refinery fired heaters. The data captured by our furnace tube inspection system is exceptionally powerful when combined with our LifeQuest™ remaining life assessment capabilities, providing an integrated solution set for refinery fired heaters in the refining and chemical industries.

Intelligent Pig Features
- Provides 100% coverage of axial length in convection coils and radiant coils
- Provides 100% overlapping coverage of coil components utilizing 48-168 transducers
- Inspects heater coils of any length including, convection coil inspection and radiant coil inspection
- Inspects pipe or tube diameters of 3 – 14 inches (76-355mm) NPS
- Negotiates unlimited short radius x 1D 180° return bends
- Travels and functions bi-directionally
- Negotiates plugged headers equipped with contoured inserts
- Provides exceptionally high quality data
- Determines axial positioning of flaw locations
- Identifies and quantifies various failure mechanisms through convection coil inspection and radiant coil inspection
